Biography

For over 25 years, Chason has represented clients in mergers and acquisitions throughout the Southeast. Chason works with both buyers and sellers, and advises not only clients with deep experience, but also those involved in their first transaction. Chason’s clients value his specialized expertise, his negotiating skills, and his attention to detail. His clients consistently remark that he takes the time to understand their business, the industry in which they operate, and the goals they seek to accomplish. Chason takes a hands-on approach to every transaction and remains intimately involved every step of the way. He also advises clients on general corporate matters, including with respect to shareholder, employment and joint venture agreements. As a trusted advisor, Chason regularly counsels clients on growth initiatives, including through strategic divestitures and acquisitions, and also on long range planning to place the client in the best position for a sale at the appropriate time.

Chason was born and raised in Atlanta. He earned his undergraduate degree from Washington & Lee University and his law degree from Emory University. Away from the office, Chason is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys family life with his wife, Jane, and their two daughters.
