Biography

Lee M. Gillis, Jr. has successfully represented clients in business, construction, civil rights and insurance defense litigation. A significant portion of Lee’s practice is dedicated to trial and appellate practice. Lee also oversees the firm’s statewide uninsured/underinsured motorist litigation practice. In 2011, Lee participated in the 30th Annual Insurance Law Institute as the presenter on uninsured motorist law development.

In March 2008, Lee represented the Woodstock Downtown Development Authority in the successful validation of the Authority’s bond issue despite significant political and legal opposition. Lee also has experience representing employers in various areas of employment law, including school boards and small businesses. His contributions in support of the local community include ongoing legal counsel to the Georgia Children’s Museum.

Lee is originally from McRae, Georgia. He and his wife, Lori, have two children and are members of First Presbyterian Church.
