Biography
Corrie Holton is originally from the college town of Blacksburg, Virginia, but moved to Georgia in 2004 to attend Covenant College on Lookout Mountain. At Covenant, Corrie earned a B.A. in History, with an English minor, and graduated magna cum laude in 2008. Thereafter, Corrie moved to Macon to attend the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor in 2011. While at Mercer University, Corrie was a member of the Mercer Law Review and in 2010–2011, she served as the Student Writing Editor. After her second year of law school, Corrie clerked with James Bates and has been with the firm ever since.
Corrie values family and community, and has enjoyed settling into her Macon “home” over the past three years. She is an active member of First Presbyterian Church in downtown Macon.
