Jeffrey M. Rutledge











Jeff Rutledge was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and grew up and finished high school in Columbus, Georgia. After earning a B.A. in history and political science from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, Jeff attended Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi, and graduated in 1997. Jeff previously served as Senior Vice President and Manager of the Private Wealth Management Department for SunTrust Bank and then as Senior Vice President of Investments for Wachovia Securities where he was fully licensed to advise clients regarding their financial, investment and life insurance needs.

Jeff now advises clients and their families concerning their goals and objectives relating to tax and estate planning, asset protection planning and business succession planning. Jeff also serves as primary corporate counsel for several small to mid-sized family businesses by providing advice in areas of general need ranging from the formation and organization of the business, contractual and employment matters and mergers and acquisitions. 

Jeff and his wife, Tracy, were married in July of 1994 and have two girls, Emily and Caroline, and twin boys, Thomas and Will. The family attends Ingleside Baptist Church, where they are actively involved in the children’s, the middle school and the high school ministries.
