Kathryn S. Willis

Kathryn Willis is originally from Douglas, Georgia. She earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Georgia, graduating cum laude in 2006. While at UGA, Kathryn was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. Thereafter, she moved to Macon to attend the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor and graduated cum laude in 2009. While at Mercer University, Kathryn was a member of the Mercer Law Review.

Prior to joining James Bates, Kathryn was an associate with Baker, Donelson, Bearman & Berkowitz PC focusing her practice on real estate litigation and health care law. Kathryn is also experienced in business litigation, general liability defense, employment litigation, probate matters including guardianship/conservatorship matters and trust disputes guardianship/conservatorship matters and employment litigation.

Kathryn currently serves on the Human Rights Committee for The Arc Macon, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the needs of adults with developmental disabilities. She and her husband, John, have one daughter and attend Northway Church.
