Focusing his practice on commercial real estate law, Rick Epps advises clients in transactions involving business agricultural, timberland and recreational properties.

Rick handles a range of matters, including acquisitions and loan closings, contract negotiations and reviews, lender representations, title insurance issuances, deal closings and document drafting. He particularly enjoys title review and examinations and addressing legal questions relating to issues of property or building ownership. Rick finds it gratifying to participate in transactions that advance clients’ commercial interests and result in facilities that enhance communities.

With a personable, collaborative approach, Rick develops strong relationships with his clients and works closely with them to prevent and solve problems and pursue opportunities. Detail-oriented and meticulous, he provides those he represents with high-quality, personalized service and works efficiently to meet the deadlines inherent in often fast-moving real estate deals.

Previously, Rick gained extensive experience as a litigator at another local firm, where he focused primarily on the defense of medical malpractice actions. He brings valuable insights and a well-rounded perspective to his current practice.

After Hours

Rick enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, traveling, reading and playing tennis and pickleball.
